Words I Like

What’s it mean?

adj. Never to be broken, infringed, or dishonored.

Late Middle English. From Latin ‘in‘ (not) + ‘violabilis’ (able to be violated).

I seem to be finding fun words with my fantasy English authors. This one was in a short story by Neil Gaiman entitled, “The Thing About Cassandra,” and can be found in his newest collection of short fiction, “Trigger Warnings.”
